In this article we analyze the impact of the implementation on Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the Spanish industry. In order to do it, we study the implementation of the famous standard ISO 9000 and the EFQM model in Spain compared with its impact in the rest of the UE-25. In spite of analyzing the motivations and the results obtained after the implementation of these Quality Management Systems, we present the results of a Delphi?s national study

En el presente artículo se analiza el impacto que ha tenido la implantación de Sistemas de Gestión de la Calidad (SGC) en las empresas españolas. Para ello, se compara el impacto de la certificación ISO 9000 y del modelo europeo de Gestión de la Calidad Total (GCT) EFQM en España respecto al resto de la UE-25. Con el objetivo de analizar las motivaciones y resultados de la implantación de dichos sistemas, se presentan los resultados de un estudio Delphi realizado a nivel nacional
