This pilot project was implemented at the University of Girona by adapting two elective modules from the second year of the Primary and Early Childhood Teacher Education Degrees. These modules, titled “Scientific and Environmental School Experiences” and “Geography in a Changing World”, are part of an elective itinerary focused on science and environmental education within the undergraduate programmes. Each module was a 3 ECTS course and was delivered over the course of 12 weekly sessions of 80 minutes during the second semester of the 2023–2024 academic year.
