El pati com a espai educatiu: anàlisi d'ús i proposta de millora

Abstract

Aquest treball analitza l’ús actual del pati de la llar d’infants Els Nins i es proposa millores per potenciar-lo com a espai educatiu. A partir d’una investigació mixta s’identifiquen les necessitats dels infants i les percepcions de les educadores. Els resultats mostren que una millor organització dels espais exteriors pot afavorir el joc, l’autonomia i la interacció. A partir d’aquests resultats, es confirma la necessitat de repensar la distribució de l’espai exterior i, per tant, s’elaboren les propostes de millora. Aquestes, s’han presentat pensant en els infants de 0-3 anys i en les necessitats concretes detectades al centre.

This paper analyses the current use of the playground at els Nins kindergarten and proposes improvements to enhance it as an educational space. Based on a mixed research, the needs of the children and the perceptions of the educators are identified. The results show that a better organization of the outdoor spaces can favour play, autonomy, and interaction. Based on these results, the need to rethink the distribution of outdoor space is confirmed and, therefore, proposals for improvement are drawn up. These have been presented with children aged 0–3 years and the specific needs detected in the centre in mind.
