It is incumbent upon us to comprehend the underpinning of these expectations and their provenance, as they frequently derive from business interests and the pledge of an impartial and unbiased deployment of technology within the sphere of policing. This is where social science thinking must come into play, undertaking a pivotal role in the reconfiguration of the discourse amidst proponents and skeptics
