Toponímia i arqueologia industrial: els molins de la riera d'Osor

Abstract

We conduct an interdisciplinary place names research (especially paying atention to diferent aspects of language, history, human geography and industrial archeology of the place) focused on the four mills located along the Riera d’Osor, a mediterranean creek in the region of La Selva (Northeastern Catalonia). We refer particularly to municipality of Osor, though also treat sectors of two neighboring municipalities: Sant Hilari Sacalm and Anglès

Portem a terme un treball interdisciplinari de toponímia (fent atenció especialment a aspectes de la llengua, la història, la geografa humana i l’arqueologia industrial del lloc) centrat en els molins fariners de la riera d’Osor, a la comarca de la Selva. Ens referim, sobretot, al terme municipal d’Osor, per bé que també tractem sectors de Sant Hilari Sacalm i d’Anglès, municipis pels quals també discorre l’esmentat curs d’aigua
