The Centre d’Estudis Sociològics sobre la Vida Quotidiana i el Treball (QUIT) was established in 1989 and it was formally established as a research group in 1991. The general aim of the QUIT (Sociological Research Centre on Everyday Life and Work) is the promotion, development and dissemination of research around work and work-related issues. The study of work is accordingly approached in a broad way hence including both production and gender spheres, their relationship and impact on other aspects.
