L'objectiu d'aquest estat de la qüestió és analitzar com s'ha tractat historiogràficament
l'entrada d'un corrent intel·lectual i cultural nou com és l'humanisme. A partir de la
bibliografia suggerida pels principals manuals especialitzats d'Història d'Espanya es veu
com l'objecte d'estudi aquí contemplat genera dues escoles interpretatives: per una
banda, aquells autors hispanistes i d'influència hispanista que defensen un humanisme
vinculat amb Erasme de Rotterdam i centrat en la religió i l'espiritualitat. Així mateix,
els autors que segueixen aquesta interpretació destaquen la feina del Cardenal Cisneros
com a promotor de profundes transformacions en el clergat espanyol i com a promotor
de la fundació de la Universitat d'Alcalà, lloc on es va desenvolupar aquest tipus
d'humanisme.
Per altra banda, la segona escola interpretativa la formen autors espanyols que prenen
com a referència a Luis Gil Fernández. Aquests contemplen la recuperació dels autors
grecollatins, dels temes i les formes clàssiques com la fita fonamental de l'humanisme.
Segons aquesta escola, els estudis de gramàtica i la pedagogia són també objectius dels
autors humanistes. |

The main purpose of this state of the art is to analize how it has been historiographically
studied the entrance of a new cultural and intelectual trend: humanism. The main
specialized manuals of History of Spain there are drawn two main tendences. On the
one hand, there are the hispanists and those spanish authors influencied by them who
stand for a humanism nearly related to Erasmus of Rotterdam. This kind of humanism is
focused on the religion and the spiritualism. This group of authors stand out the figure
of Cardenal Cisneros as the main promoter of deep changes in the Spanish clergy and
also the establishing of the University of Alcala, where this kind of humanism was
developed.
On the other hand, the second interpretative school is formed by spanish authors who
take as reference the work of Luis Gil Fernández. Consider that the main goal of
humanism was the work on Greco-Roman authors and the studies of grammar and
pedagogy. |
