[spa] El artículo indaga en el análisis de las posibles fuentes directas que sirvieron a
Francesc Alegre para realizar su traducción catalana de las Metamofosis de Ovidio, la
primera conocida en la Península Ibérica. Mediante ejemplos concretos, el trabajo
destaca algunas similitudes sintomáticas entre distintas versiones medievales del mito de
Eco y Narciso: la versión de Boccaccio, la francesa del Ovide Moralisé o la versión italiana
de Giovanni Bonsignori. Algunas de estas coincidencias son atribuibles a la circulación
del texto de Ovidio en los llamados codices recentiores, pero otras no son tan fácilmente
explicables por esta vía, lo que abre ciertos interrogantes a propósito de la forma en la
que estas traducciones pudieron influirse entre ellas.[eng] The paper examines the possible direct sources used by Francesc Alegre for
his Catalan translation of Ovid's Metamorphoses, which is the first known version of this
work in the Iberian Peninsula. Thorough concrete examples, it points out some
symptomatic similarities among the different medieval versions of the Eco and
Narcissus myth: the version by Boccaccio, the French one in the Ovide Moralisé and the
Italian translation made by Giovanni Bonsignori. Some of the coincidences might be due
to the circulation of the Ovidian text in the so-called codices recentiores, but others defy
such explanation. This fact opens some questions about the way in which the mentioned
works might have influenced one another.
