[cat] Presentem en aquest treball la porta fortificada de l'assentament del primer ferro de Sant Jaume-Mas d'en Serrà (Alcanar, Montsià). La interpretació de la seqüència estratigràfica indica l'existència de dues fases, totes dues desenvolupades durant la primera edat del ferro. Durant els dos moments la porta disposa de sistemes de protecció d'una certa complexitat, que podrien ser almenys en part resultat de préstecs culturals puntuals del món fenici.[eng] We present in this work the fortified gate from the settlement of Sant Jaume-Mas d'en Serrà (Alcanar, Montsià, Catalonia). The interpretation of the stratigraphical sequence indicates the existence of two phases, both developed during the first iron age. During both moments that gate has systems of protection of a certain complexity, which could be the result of the contact with the Phoenician world.
