El present projecte es basa en l’adaptació i canvi d’ús de l’escola bressol
“Mestral” a un nou espai polivalent dedicat a l’àrea docent i cultural del ball,
situada al municipi de El Vendrell i sent un dels edificis peculiars, entre d’altres,
dins dels últims projectes d’àmbit municipal que s’han realitzat en aquests últims
anys.
L’escola bressol “Mestral”, fou projectada l’any 2004 per l’arquitecte Jordi
Queralt, i construïda entre els anys 2004 i 2005. Queda situada a la zona del
barri de “Mas d’en Gual”, a les afores del municipi. Està delimitada pels carrers:
Conflent i Alt Penedès.
El projecte presenta un estudi de màrqueting que evidència que amb la nova
incorporació d’aquest espai i uns bons serveis el canvi d’ús a una escola de ball
seria perfectament factible.
Per recondicionar l’edifici existent pel seu nou ús contempla una sèrie de
desconstruccions parcials, la construcció de noves instal*lacions i l’adequació
de l’edifici a les actuals normatives, sempre que sigui possible. En la proposta de
nova planta es seguirà en tot moment el Codi Tècnic de l’Edificació i les
normatives especifiques per nova construcció o nous usos.
ENGLISH: This project is based on the adaptation and change of use of the kindergarten
"Mestral" a new multipurpose space devoted to educational and cultural dance
area, located in the municipality of El Vendrell and have been a one of peculiar
buildings among others, within the last municipal projects that have been
realized in recent years.
The kindergarten "Mestral" was designed in 2004 by architect Jordi Queralt, and
built between 2004 and 2005. It is located in the district of "Mas d'en Gual," on
the outskirts of municipality. It is bounded by streets: Conflent and Alt Penedès.
The project presents a marketing study that demonstrates that this new space
and good services use change to a dance school would be perfectly feasible.
For recondition the existing building for its new use, contemplates a series of
partial deconstruction and construction of new facilities and the adequacy of
the building to current standards whenever possible. In the proposed new plant
will at all times the Technical Building Code and specific regulations for new
construction and new uses.
