This Final Degree Project focuses on the study and implementation of technological and
organizational improvements in the storage system of the fictitious company Cables
Industrials, S.L., created for academic purposes but based on a real case in the electric cable
manufacturing sector.
The main objective is to optimize logistics efficiency and ensure material traceability
through the digitalization of processes. The project proposes three main lines of action: the
reorganization of the warehouse following Lean Manufacturing principles, the migration of
the ERP system from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central, and the
implementation of QR codes to improve stock control.
The results were analyzed using defined KPI indicators such as inventory differences,
location times, and labeling errors. The findings show a 60% improvement in inventory
accuracy, a 47% reduction in location time, and a 57% decrease in labeling errors. These
outcomes demonstrate the overall optimization of the logistics management system.
Finally, the ROI analysis confirms that the project generates positive results and profitability
in the medium term. Overall, it can be concluded that full digitalization and staff training are
key factors in achieving modern, safe, and sustainable logistics management capable of
adapting to the challenges of Industry 4.0.

El present Treball de Fi de Grau se centra en l’estudi i l’aplicació de millores tecnològiques
i organitzatives al sistema d’emmagatzematge de l’empresa fictícia Cables Industrials, S. L.,
creada amb finalitats acadèmiques però basada en un cas real del sector de la fabricació de
cables elèctrics.
L’objectiu principal és optimitzar l’eficiència logística i garantir la traçabilitat dels materials
mitjançant la digitalització dels processos. El projecte proposa tres línies d’actuació: la
reorganització del magatzem seguint la filosofia Lean Manufacturing, la migració del
sistema ERP Microsoft Dynamics NAV a Business Central i la implantació de codis QR per
millorar el control d’estoc.
S’han analitzat els resultats obtinguts mitjançant la definició d’indicadors KPI, com ara la
diferència de l’inventari, els temps de localització i els errors d’etiquetatge. Els resultats
mostren una millora del 60% en les diferències d’inventari, una reducció del 47% en el temps
de localització i una disminució dels errors d’etiquetatge del 57%. Aquests fets evidencien
l’optimització global del sistema de gestió logística.
Finalment, l’anàlisi del ROI demostra que el projecte genera resultats positius i rendibilitat
a mitjà termini. En conjunt, es conclou que la digitalització integral i la formació del personal
són elements fonamentals per assolir una gestió logística moderna, segura i sostenible, capaç
d’adaptar-se als reptes de la Indústria 4.0.
