This shift implies a change in their Balanced Scorecard (BSC) in order to measure future outcomes on patient health and well-being. The pur-pose of this research is to identify the methodologies used to build a BSC for healthcare organizations and analyse its suitability to measure and monitoring the management objectives. The study was conducted by a scoping review of the lit-erature from 2013 to 2022 in healthcare organizations. From this research we conclude that none of the reference models identified allow measure the holistic purpose of healthcare organizations. Hence, further research is needed to propose a model adapted to the new management model of the healthcare organizations.
