<dc:description>The present paper focuses on the large eddy simulation (LES) of the n-heptane and n-dodecane flames of the Cambridge swirl flames data repository (Sidey et al., 2017). The applied tabulated chemistry spray combustion model reproduces well the key phenomena controlling flame dynamics. The distinct volatility of the fuels is identified as the source of main difference between the n-heptane and n-dodecane flames.</dc:description>
