      <subfield code="a">O bairro dos Jardins constitui-se um exemplo emblemático do varejo de luxo paulistano. Por isso, a existência de uma ocupação num antigo edifício de quatro andares, na esquina da Rua Oscar Freire com a Rua Peixoto Gomide, torna visível a ausência de políticas habitacionais no país, sintoma de uma sociedade deformada, incapaz de superar a reprodução do atraso. Nessa perspectiva, o objetivo deste artigo é iluminar esse estranhamento inscrito na cotidianidade da cidade de São Paulo. A fim de compreender o contraste entre os termos: “apropriação como experiência” presente na ocupação e “experiência da marca” oferecida pelas lojas da região, fortemente, aderida à realidade social e à cultura do consumo contemporânea, a metodologia deste artigo articula pesquisa bibliográfica com pesquisa etnográfica. Os resultados apontam para um movimento na contramão do cotidiano programado pelo marketing capaz de questionar a alienação e refletir sobre a importância do lugar estratégico para as ocupações urbanas.</subfield>

      <subfield code="a">The Jardins neighborhood is an emblematic example of São Paulo's luxury retail. Therefore, the existence of an occupation in an old four-story building, on the corner of Oscar Freire Street and Peixoto Gomide Street, makes visible the absence of housing policies in the country, symptom of a deformed society, unable to overcome the reproduction of the Delay. In this perspective, the aim of this article is to illuminate this strangeness inscribed in the daily life of the city of São Paulo. In order to understand the contrast between the terms: "appropriation as experience" present in the occupation and "brand experience" offered by the stores of the region, strongly adhered to the social reality and culture of contemporary consumption, the methodology articulates bibliographic research and ethnographic research. The results point to a movement contrary to the daily life programmed by marketing capable of questioning alienation and reflecting on the importance of the strategic place for urban occupations</subfield>
