00925njm 22002777a 4500 dc Vila Alperi, Marc author 2020-07-13 Over the last decades the use of drones, or known better by RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems), have gone from being something only seen and thought of in the military world, to being one of the emerging industries with greater potential we’ve seen in the last few years. Given that drones are easy to use while also being accessible and have endless applications, they have shown much potential for any type of field, from photography , construction, surveillance, etc.. The goal of this project is to design and generate a route for the vertical evaluation of buildings, meaning that will be shown how to take advantage of the given nature of drones to automatically generate a route surrounding a building or a given volume from one height to another for many data gathering applications. It will also be discussed many of the uses that drones have for similar purposes, the design and thought process behind the shape of the route and how the different variations of the routes are generated and also what is the vision or possible applications that this route can have and what can be the future developments these can have in the near future. Durante las últimas décadas el uso de los drones, o como se les llama por su nombre técnico RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems), han pasado de algo que se veía solo en ámbitos militares a ser una de las industrias emergentes con más potencial en los últimos años. Dado su fácil uso, accesibilidad e infinidad de posibles aplicaciones, han mostrado un potencial para todo tipo de ámbitos muy elevado, desde la fotografía, la construcción, envío de cargamento, vigilancia, etc.. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo diseñar y generar rutas para la evaluación vertical de edificios, es decir, aprovechar la naturaleza de los drones para poder, de manera automática, llevar a cabo una ruta rodeando a un edificio o volumen desde una altura a otra que sea introducido mediante un usuario para varios tipos de aplicaciones. Se hablará del uso que tienen los drones para este tipo de aplicaciones, el porqué de las formas y diseños de las rutas y sus diferentes variaciones, también se hablará de cómo podrían ser implementadas en el mundo actual y cuales son los usos sugeridos así como en un futuro se podría ampliar este tópico para abarcar más terreno dentro de este mundo.
