Moltes empreses en ple creixement, especialment si són de software, presenten un problema comú: no troben la manera de controlar els projectes i recursos de què disposen per fer-ne un ús intel·ligent i augmentar la seva productivitat. Per això, el GUP pretén solucionar aquest problema i ajudar les empreses a gestionar tota la informació que generen per millorar. Per fer-ho hem establert uns objectius concrets que ens ajuden a avançar en la direcció correcta cap a les necessitats de la majoria dels stakeholders. Per al desenvolupament del projecte s'ha utilitzat una metodologia àgil que ens ha permès adaptar-nos a tots els canvis que han anat sorgint en l'especificació de les tasques. No hi ha hagut canvis molt significatius que hagin bloquejat o endarrerit l'evolució del projecte i, per tant, s'han complert les estimacions temporals i de cost fetes abans d'iniciar el desenvolupament. A més, s'han analitzat els riscos i l'impacte social, ambiental i econòmic del projecte i s'han proposat formes de mitigar l'impacte negatiu que pot generar en alguns casos. Finalment, s'exposen les conclusions extretes de tot el procés i les possibles millores i extensions que es farien a l'eina en cas que es prolongués el seu desenvolupament. Aquests canvis són relativament senzills d'implementar donada la utilització de patrons que en faciliten la mantenibilitat, l'expansió i la modificació.
Many growing companies, especially software ones, present a common problem: they can not find a way to control the projects and resources they have to make intelligent use of them and increase their productivity. Therefore, GUP aims to solve this problem helping companies to manage all the information they generate to improve. To do this, we have set specific goals that will help us move in the right direction towards satisfying the needs of most stakeholders. In order to develop this project, the use of an agile methodology has allowed us to adapt to all the changes that have emerged in the specification of the tasks. There have not been very significant changes that have blocked or delayed the project development and, as a result, the time and cost estimations made before the start have been met. In addition, the risks and the environmental, economic and social impact of the project have been analysed. Also, we have proposed different ways to mitigate the negative impact that may be generated in some cases. Finally, the conclusions drawn from the whole process are presented, as well as the possible improvements and extensions that would be made to the tool in the event of its further development. These changes are relatively simple to implement given the use of patterns that facilitate sustainability, expansion and modification.
