Resolution
has
been
one
of
the
main
topics
of
research
in
Image
Processing
in
the
last
twenty
years.
Different
authors
have
presented
a
vast
amount
of
different
techniques
and
approaches.
Nowadays
reconstruction-‐based
Super
Resolution
works
effectively
for
synthetic
data
but
practical
problems
appear
in
real
scenarios
with
objects
moving
with
arbitrary
speeds
and
directions
within
the
scene.
With
our
work,
we
present
a
review
of
the
state-‐of-‐the-‐art
in
reconstruction-‐based
Super
Resolution,
we
make
contributions
to
the
involved
stages
(registration,
reconstruction
and
restoration)
and
finally,
we
introduce
some
initial
ideas
for
future
work
leading
to
effective
Super
Resolution
even
in
sequences
with
highly
complex
motion.
