               <mods:abstract>The present paper is the result of an investigation that explores the differences between Spanish and Japanese companies regarding the application of mobile solutions in their systems. There are two distinctive approaches reflected; firstly, a homogeneity analysis comparing Japanese and Spanish cases from a categorical matrix; secondly, the introduction of two particular cases of the Spanish scene. It is interesting to observe how two different cultures and countries implement mobile technology in order to understand the main reasons that yield them to do such an invest.Outgoing</mods:abstract>
