Fallanobium, n. gen. and its single species, F. angolensis, n. sp. are added to the Ptilininae. Microernobius nigronitidus Pic, Ernobiinae, is redescribed. The following species are also described: Gastrallus makerensis n. sp. in Anobiinae; Metholcus moreno;, M. wagneri, and M. rusumensis, n. spp., and Megorama gridellii, n. sp. in Xyletininae; Rhamna mestreae n. sp. in Mesocoelopodinae; Synanobium (Synanobium) karengerensis, n. sp. and Metapetalium ruandensis, n. sp. in Dorcatominae. New records include: Megorama modestum (Pic) for Kenya, Rhamna bremeri Español & Viñolas and R. minuta (Pic) for Rwanda.
