El Partit Socialista d’Alliberament Nacional dels Països Catalans (PSAN) fue un partido político independentista y marxista que defendió la creación del Estado Socialista de los Países Catalanes. El analisi del partido durante su etapa más relevante, entre 1969 y 1980, nos permite seguir la génesi y evolución de un espació político, Esquerra d’Alliberament Nacional, en los años del tardofranquismo y la transición. Aunque el partido no consiguió ninguno de los objetivos estratégicos que se había propuesto, destacó por la influencia ideológica que tuvo posteriormente en muchas otras fuerzas políticas catalanasThe Partit Socialista d’Alliberament Nacional dels Països Catalans (PSAN) was a pro-independence and marxist political party that defended the creation of the Socialist State of the Catalan Countries. The analysis of the party during its most relevant stage, between 1969 and 1980, allows us to follow the genesis and evolution of a political space, Esquerra d’Alliberament Nacional, in the years of late Francoism and transition. Although the party did not achieve any of the strategic objectives that had been proposed, it stood out for the ideological influence it later had in many other Catalan political forces
