En el present article parlarem de la creació del món cooperatiu agrari a Catalunya, centrantnos en els casos de les comarques de les Garrigues i el Segrià. En ambdós casos es copsa la mateixa dinàmica de fundació, molt limitada cronològicament als anys de la Mancomunitat de Catalunya (1914-1923), que en va ser promotora. Altrament, l’evolució del cooperativisme agrari va ser molt diferent a partir de l’època franquista, mantenint-se gairebé inalterat a les Garrigues i evolucionant a formes més complexes capitalistes al Segrià.
In this article we will talk about the creation of
the agricultural cooperative world in Catalonia,
focusing on the cases of the areas of Les
Garrigues and Segrià. In both cases, the same
founding dynamic is captured, very limited
chronologically to the years of the Catalonia’s
Mancomunity (1914-1923), which was its
promoter. Otherwise, the evolution of agrarian
cooperativism was very different from the
Franco era: in Les Garrigues remaining almost
unchanged and in the Segrià evolving into more
complex capitalist forms.
