A partir de una experiencia interuniversitaria y transdiciplinar, llevada a cabo en la Universidad de Lleida, en la que participaron también otros colectivos e instituciones, se van desplegando toda una serie de contenidos dialógicos dirigidos hacia una mayor comprensión de la singularidad de las tallas y otros objetos artísticos, constructos culturales e identitarios de algunos pueblos de África subsahariana. Contenidos que no solamente implican al llamado 'arte' africano, sino también la responsabilidad occidental respecto a la experiencia colonial y a la apropiación moderna del mismo, puesto que la educación intercultural, también tiene que ver con ello.This article reflects on the importance of the intercultural dialogue and highlights the use of African art as a basic educational instrument. Starting from an inter-university and transdisciplinary experience carried out at the University of Lleida, with the participation of other groups and institutions, a series of dialogic contents are deployed aimed a greater understanding of the uniqueness of the carvings and other artistic objects and cultural and identity constructs of people from sub-Saharan Africa.
