L’aplicación d’esti modelu llingüísticu en Catalunya de magar 1983 ufre perbonos resultados na conocencia y nel usu del catalán y el castellán nel escolináu d’ente 3 y 29 años (Strubell, Andreu y Sintes 2012). Too ello llévanos a afirmar que la escuela asturiana tien razones p’apostar por un modelu llingüísticu d’escolarización como’l catalán col envís de que tolos estudiantes d’Asturies conozan y usen la llingua dende edaes tempranes.</dc:description>
               <dc:description>In this paper we show how a model of conjunction in the Catalan system,&#xd;
based on initial schooling in Catalan and the progressive introduction of Spanish, has&#xd;
been successfully implemented. The application of this linguistic model in Catalonia&#xd;
since 1983 has brought about optimal results in the knowledge and use of Catalan and&#xd;
Spanish among students aged 3 to 29 (Strubell, Andreu y Sintes 2012). This leads us&#xd;
to claim that there are enough reasons to opt for a linguistic model of schooling like&#xd;
the Catalan one in Asturias, so that the llingua can be learnt and used by all students&#xd;
from early age in Asturias.</dc:description>
