The area of study focuses within the Old Town of Girona, where the legends evoke the city’s past and feature its streets, houses and families. By developing an extensive list, the most relevant legends for the study are selected, resulting in 5 study cases. For each one, 3 key aspects are analyzed (one physical, one architectural or urban and one imaginary) in order to determine which is the contribution of legends to history and urban structure of the city. The results will allow to answer the initial point evaluating whether legends can or can’t be considered a useful tool when studying this discipline</mods:abstract>
