<dcterms:abstract>Article that proposes considering primatology as an integrative framework for studying social robots. Primates, our closest evolutionary relatives, display complex social structures, emotional behaviors, and cognitive abilities, which provide rich analogies for the design and analysis of robots with social capabilities. Drawing a direct comparison by how primates navigate their social environments building alliances, interpreting intentions, and adapting to cultural norms might help us to gain critical insights into how robots might emulate similar processes</dcterms:abstract>
