Els Trastorns de la Conducta Alimentària (TCA) són un conjunt de trastorns mentals
caracteritzats per alteracions persistents en l'alimentació, el comportament relacionat
amb la ingesta i la constitució corporal, confluint i causant alteracions físiques i
psicosocials que generen un deteriorament significatiu. Recentment, les dades de
prevalença han augmentat gairebé un 40%, evidenciant la necessitat d'implementar
polítiques sanitàries adequades per a la prevenció, reduint la seva freqüència i gravetat
i millorant la qualitat de salut. “Darrere del mirall" és un programa de prevenció en
format podcast que busca, amb una mirada holística, treballar els TCA actuant sobre
les causes fonamentals i enfortint els factors protectors com l'autoestima, la
comunicació, les emocions o el coneixement sobre nutrició, comptant amb la
col·laboració de professionals sanitaris i testimonis relacionats amb la patologia. El
programa pretén sensibilitzar i informar sobre aquesta malaltia des de la seva
prevenció primària en l’àmbit familiar. Insistint i aprofundint en la problemàtica que
subjau la simptomatologia, per promocionar la prevenció amb aquesta "vacuna
psicològica", així com la necessitat de treball i revisió familiar.
Eating disorders (ED) are a group of mental disorders characterized by persistent
alterations in eating, eating-related behavior and body constitution, which merge and
cause physical and psychosocial alterations that generate significant deterioration. The
last few years, prevalence data have increased by almost 40%, proving the need to
implement appropriate health policies for prevention, reducing its frequency and
severity and improving the quality of health. "Behind the mirror" is a prevention
program in podcast format that seeks, with a holistic view, to work on EDs by acting
on the root causes while enhancing protective factors such as self-esteem,
communication, emotions or knowledge about nutrition, with the collaboration of
health professionals and testimonies related to the pathology. The program aims to
raise awareness and inform about this disease and its primary prevention in the family
environment.Insisting and focusing on the problems that underlie symptomatology, to
promote prevention with this "psychological vaccine", as well as the need for family
work and review.
