In the present work a qualitative research is carried out with the aim of knowing
how the social stigma is manifested and overcome in relation to the people who
have been deprived of liberty by themselves and by expert professionals. To this
end, a sample of two men from the ex-prison population and four professionals, we
proceeded to conduct interviews focused on discovering their experience and
opinion regarding the rehabilitation model, social stigma, their management of this.
The results obtained make it possible to determine the experience of the group, as
well as the resources to be able to carry out an adequate reintegration, and allow to
identify the methodology of work of the associations to accompany the group, and
the reasons of the maintenance and the possible stigma reduction.En el present treball es realitza una investigació qualitativa amb l'objectiu de
conèixer com es manifesta i se supera l'estigma social en relació amb les persones
que han estat privades de llibertat per part d'elles mateixes i de professionals experts
i expertes. A tal efecte, mitjançant una mostra composta per dos homes de la
població exreclusa i quatre professionals, es va procedir a la realització d'entrevistes
enfocades en descobrir la seva experiència i opinió respecte al model rehabilitador,
l'estigma social, la seva gestió d'aquest. Els resultats obtinguts possibiliten
determinar la vivència del col·lectiu, així com els recursos per poder dur a terme
una adequada reinserció, i permeten identificar la metodologia de treball de les
associacions per acompanyar al col·lectiu, i els motius del manteniment i la possible
reducció de l'estigma.3
