Background: In recent years, there has been an increase in the demand by
pregnant women to assume a physiological part, diminished by those
interventionist techniques, and consequently, the search for alternative
techniques has increased exponentially with the aim of providing autonomy and
empowerment to the donor during the gestation process. One of the main tips is
umbilical cord management, which is based on the application of delayed
umbilical cord clamping instead of immediate clamping.
Delayed umbilical cord clamping involves abandoning the practice of early
clamping and clipping of the umbilical cord at the time of birth, which allows the
physiology of the process to be respected in its rhythm and the harvesting,
especially the transfusion of the blood remaining in the placenta to its recipient,
the newborn.
Objectives: The overall objective of this study is to determine the health benefits
of the baby and the pregnant woman of delayed umbilical cord clamping as a
technique applicable at the time of deliveryIntroducció: En els darrers anys, hi ha hagut un augment de la demanda, per
part de les gestants a assolir un part fisiològic, disminuint així aquelles tècniques
intervencionistes i en conseqüència, ha augmentat de forma exponencial la cerca
de tècniques alternatives amb l’objectiu d’aportar autonomia i apoderament a la
dona durant el procés de gestació. Un dels principals canvis és el maneig del
cordó umbilical, vetllant per l’aplicació del pinçament tardà del cordó umbilical en
lloc del pinçament immediat.
El pinçament tardà del cordó umbilical implica abandonar la pràctica de pinçar i
tallar de forma precoç el cordó quan neix el nadó, permetent que bategui al seu
ritme respectar la fisiologia del procés i cos, especialment la transfusió de la sang
que queda a la placenta al seu receptor, el nounat.
Objectiu: L’objectiu general del present estudi és determinar els beneficis per a
la salut del nadó i de la gestant, del pinçament tardà del cordó umbilical com a
tècnica aplicable en el moment de part
