This fact, then, should be a natural, joyful, and healthy experience for her and for her partner and family. However, in many cases this is not the case, and many women are victims of obstetric violence making their pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum a biological, pathological, institutionalized and depersonalized fact, in which the woman loses autonomy over her body. Although studies claim that obstetric violence is frequent, there are real difficulties for women to report it. One of the main reasons for this problem is the fact that pregnant women and her couples are not aware of their rights during pregnancy and childbirth care. Despite the health education and pregnancy education programs that are taught to this group during this stage, there is no specific resource that allows them to know in depth what are the respected births and, although there are resources to be able to go deeper in case this is desired, there are many women who are unaware of the importance of knowing themselves. Objective: Evaluate the effectiveness of the Program for the promotion of respected childbirth and birth to avoid suffering obstetric violence during the processes of pregnancy and childbirth Introducció: Ser mare és una experiència personal única que tota dona viu amb intensitat. Aquest fet, doncs, hauria de viure’s com una experiència natural, joiosa i saludable tant per ella com per a la seva parella i família. No obstant, en moltes ocasions això no és així, i moltes dones són víctimes de violència obstètrica convertint-se el seu embaràs, part i postpart en un fet biològic, patologitzat, institucionalitzat i despersonalitzat, en què la dona perd l'autonomia sobre el seu cos. Tot i que estudis afirmen que la violència obstètrica s'exerceix freqüentment, hi ha dificultats reals perquè les dones denunciïn. Un dels grans motius d’aquesta problemàtica, és el fet que entre les dones embarassades i les parelles no hi ha consciència dels seus drets durant l'atenció de l'embaràs i el part. Malgrat l’educació en salut i els programes educatius per a l’embaràs que s’imparteixen a aquest col·lectiu durant aquesta etapa, no hi ha cap recurs específic que les permeti conèixer amb profunditat què són el part i el naixement respectats i, tot i que hi ha recursos per a poder-ne profunditzar en cas que així es desitgi, hi ha un gran nombre de dones que desconeixen la importància de conèixer els mateixos.
