   <dcterms:abstract>L’esclerosi múltiple (EM) és una malaltia neuronal crònica autoimmune, i és la causa més&#xd;
comuna de discapacitat no traumàtica en afectar als joves. El nombre d’afectats en el món&#xd;
s’estima que es troba entre 1,3 i 2,5 milions de persones. A Catalunya els afectats per la&#xd;
malaltia són més de 6.500. Aquests números estan en creixement, ja que cada any tendeixen&#xd;
en augmentar el nombre de persones afectades.&#xd;
Les tècniques convencionals de ressonància magnètica són altament sensibles en la detecció&#xd;
de plaques d’EM i poden proporcionar valors quantitatius sobre les inflamacions i lesions. En&#xd;
les imatges de ressonància magnètica, podem visualitzar aquestes lesions en forma de petites&#xd;

   <dcterms:abstract>Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune neuronal disease, and is the most common cause&#xd;
common non-traumatic disability affecting young people. The number of people affected in the world&#xd;
it is estimated that there are between 1.3 and 2.5 million people. In Catalonia those affected by the&#xd;
disease are more than 6,500. These numbers are growing, as they tend every year&#xd;

Conventional MRI techniques are highly sensitive in detection&#xd;
