The objective of this article is to identify the main reflections on this relational approach in the field of study. The investigation was carried out through a literature review. The results indicate that there is still not a consensus on the definition of relations between academics, nor is there a unified vision for how to adopt/integrate the relationship as an element of research with a relational approach. One of the main contributions of this research has been the compilation and systematization of the main reflections on the idea of â â relationship in the field of Public RelationsEn el ámbito de las Relaciones Públicas los estudios se orientan significativa y progresivamente hacia un enfoque cada vez más relacional. El objetivo principal de este artículo es identificar las principales reflexiones sobre el abordaje del enfoque relacional en el ámbito de estudio. La investigación se llevó a cabo a través de una revisión bibliográfica. Los resultados indican que todavía no hay un consenso pleno sobre la definición de relación entre los académicos analizados. Tampoco se identifica una visión unificada sobre cómo adoptar/integrar la relación como elemento básico de las investigaciones con el enfoque relacional.
