<subfield code="a">This article examines the value of the student’s voice to improve the arrangement of the school, suggesting that it is often assumed to be something good to do. The document reports on a project of innovation when remodelling the English classroom of Eiximenis’ school (Girona). The students are the main protagonists in such process, mainly in the English commission subject, and in the development of a learning-centre session, an approach that contributes to the effective learning process. The results indicate that when pupils are engaged in school projects, can make their own decisions, and when they can learn by using the learning-centre methodology, they are more motivated in their own education. This qualitative study uses observation tables, interviews, surveys, student works samples, photographs, and discussions to collect information throughout the process</subfield>
