poden identificar i tractar algunes alteracions psicològiques o signes d’alerta
<dc:description>During pregnancy and the puerperium period there are biochemical,
psychological and social changes that make women more vulnerable for the
onset of mood disorders. Among those related to the puerperium period there is
postpartum sadness, depression and psychosis.
During the prenatal control, as well as on the first days after the childbirth, we
can identify and treat some psychological changes and warning signs, such as
low self-esteem, anxiety, high stress levels or sleeping disorder. These
predispose women to develop a mood disorder like postpartum depression.
This usually occurs between the 4th and 30th weeks after the birth. For this
reason it is important to know the symptoms and when the postpartum
depression appears, in order to plan early preventive strategies to strengthen
maternal abilities and sources of support.
The diagnosis of postpartum depression presents certain difficulties, on the one
hand the lack of knowledge by medical stuff, and on the other hand the scarce
frequency of consultation by mothers, since it is considered a personal failure.
The present study has as a main objective to get to know the efficiency of
psychoeducational training to expectant mothers who attend the Basic Health
Area of Sils (ABS Sils), for the prevention of anxiety and postpartum
depression.
This is a clinical study which will take place from November 2016 to July 2018,
in Basic Health Area in Sils, Vidreres and Maçanet, through the quantitative
methodology.
The obtained result from this study will help improve the prevention of
postpartum depression and establish possible changes in the health sector, in
postpartum women care</dc:description>
