In this sense we may consider the problem situations as a good example for methodological proposals. So as to determine its use and adequateness for Physical Education it is conveniente to analyse the characteristics of the motor tasks that are proposed as well as the features of the teaching intervention in such a way as to ease the adquisition and development of the motor competence of the students Tanto desde los ámbitos del aprendizaje motor como desde la didáctica de la educación física se promueven orientaciones metodológicas coherentes con las actuales directrices curriculares que van encaminadas a que el alumno o alumna sea capaz de actuar motrizmente de forma autónoma. En este sentido, podemos considerar las situaciones problema como un buen ejemplo de propuesta metodológica.
