<dcterms:abstract>Based on the initial hypothesis, which says that the music benefits the attentions paid
in a podcast, we have proposed an experiment. That experiment, consist on listening
one of the four podcast versions, they are identical on terms of content, but completely
different on terms of musical treatment. We evaluated the short-term memory in order
to know the attention paid, and the results were really similar between the four
podcasts. We also asked what effects music has had on the listeners themselves and
that’s where we found the main differences. Then, the results of a poll which asks about
the content of the podcast and the musical treatment has been compared. After, we can
corroborate that although music is one of the principal factors, it does not have the
biggest weight in capturing the attention, there are other relevant factors.</dcterms:abstract>
