Internet of Things (IoT) represents a general concept regarding the ability of a network's devices to detect and collect data from the world around us, and then share them over the Internet, where they can be processed and used for various purposes. This work has a dual purpose: On the one hand we want to approach lake monitoring using the latest generation technologies, such as Low-Power Wide-Area Network (LPWAN) and LoRa, in addition to using a platform with a short learning curve and a large community of users as is Arduino. On the other, it is intended that the documentation of the project allows to replicate the assembly of the system easily by anyone with minimal knowledge of electronics and programming. For LoRa communication, SX1272 transceivers and libraries provided by the Libelium company have been used. The parameters of the lake to be monitored from the lake to be monitored are temperature, amount of dissolved oxygen, its electrical conductivity and water level. The system has been designed to be installed in Lake Olla del Rei located in Castelldefels, about 200 meters from the Campus of Baix Llobregat, where it has been tested to validate its operation. It will be fed autonomously, using batteries and a solar panel. It will periodically send the data to a receiver that will be located in the C4 building of the EETAC (School of Telecommunications Engineering and Aerospace of Castelldefels). As a reception system we will have a LoRa module connected to a computer with Internet connection and Windows operating system. Each time the data is received, the module will send the measurements of the sensors to the computer and will be stored in a MySQL database. To consult the stored data has been made a web interface that will display the values in graph form on any device with Internet connection, be it PC, Smartphone or Tablet. |

sea PC, Smartphone o Tablet. |
