dc.description.abstract |
In a context of deep economic crisis, the labour market requiresnew organisational systems and new processes. Among others,we highlight the need to upgrade skills, specifically regardingcollaborative procedures and opportunities. Moreover, the Europe2020 strategy acknowledges that a fundamental transformation ofeducation and training is needed to address the new skills andcompetences required if Europe is to remain competitive (ET2020).Wikinomics is a European project (Lifelong Learning Programme,2013-2015) that aims to use free-culture and wiki methodologiesas the basis for an innovative pedagogical methodology.Furthermore, Wikinomics is focused on vocational education thatprepares people for specific careers at various levels. By adaptingcore competences and other data identified within the Wikiskillsproject, participants from different countries and vocationaleducation sectors will validate the framework, modules and toolsadapted to current and future labour market needs. |
