Acquisition and transmission of altitude data using the ARINC 429 specification

This project has been fulfilled within the Erasmus program in collaboration with the School of Telecommunications and Spatial Engineering in Castelldefels and the Center of Resources and Aeronautical Maintenance. We have participated in the Project DR-400 whose objective is to build a replica of the cockpit of the recreational plane Robin DR400. Once it should be completed, its mission would be to serve as training material for the students. The project consists of two interconnected parts: · Transmission of the altitude data as registered from the model using the ARINC 429 syntax through a micro-controller and an oscilloscope. · Creation of a system for generating anemo-barometric pressures from a common syringe in order to replace the current test pack.
