In this paper we analyze some aspects of capstone projects done by teachers during the academic years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 in the course «History of Mathematics and Science for Secondary Education» that was part of the training plan of in-service teachers of the Institute of Education Sciences at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. These capstone projects consist in designing an activity related to the introduction of the history of mathematics in the classroom, that teachers should have implemented and where they should have emphasized basic skills that students are intended to achieve. The aim of these analyses is to bring new elements of reflection for helping in the design and implementation in the classroom of resources on history of mathematics, which should be well integrated into the curriculum.
