Power supply through renewable energy based systems for grid connected detached houses.

This project falls within the range of implementing alternative energy solutions in the case of supplying a detached house. Solar energy is proposed to produce electricity as well as heating water for domestic uses. The use of a micro wind turbine is also considered, the turbine will supply power to the system in situations of unfavorable sun or just cooperate with the PV system in the electricity generation. In order to properly connect all these systems, the project goes through all the electricall installation size and design so that it complies with the legislation. Finally, a viability and pro tability study for all the power supply technologies is carried out. Despite focusing on a particular house, the project is intended to help all homeowners on the decision to install any of the systems here studied. In this project, they will nd all the information and data that they may require when making the choice. In addition, this project has also a strong will to approach the electricity generation through carbon free energy sources to anyone, but in a feasible, convenient and pro table way.
