| Abstract: | The objective of the present study is to analyze the evolution of low lunar orbits under the gravitational potential of the Moon and additional perturbations of gravitational (Earth and Sun gravity) and non-gravitational (radiation pressure) nature. Such evolution can be used to estimate the amount of propellant required to maintain a certain orbit during a given time or, alternatively as in the present case, to identify orbits which may offer a wide surface coverage if no orbit correction maneuvers are applied. |
