Abstract:

Progressive lenses are lenses that allow focusing objects at any distance. The main problem of these lenses is the arise of marginal zones that present aberrations in which vision is defective. The interest of our research is to study the perceptual
effect of these distortions using Virtual Reality techniques. In this paper we describe the different phases and goals of our research and we present a lens simulator that will help us to have a correct perception of the aberrations produced by these marginal zones. |
