Introducción: Cuando se la lugar un parto pretérmino se produce una dura interrupción
del proceso de preparación para el nacimiento del recién nacido, dando lugar a
sentimientos y emociones en los padres, que en muchas ocasiones se traducen en
preocupación, inquietud, miedo, etc., ya que desconocen si su hijo sobrevivirá o como
evolucionara. Hoy en día los padres pueden permanecer en la UCIN junto a su hijo, así
como participar en los cuidados básicos, pero en muchas ocasiones los padres
continúan sintiendo una falta de apoyo por parte del personal sanitario, requiriendo
una mejor educación sanitaria.
Objetivos: 1. Determinar cuáles son las intervenciones más efectivas dirigidas a padres
de recién nacidos prematuros en las UCIN a fin de mejorar el estado psicológico de los
mismos. 2.Identificar los factores que influyen en el desorden psicológico de los padres
de recién nacidos prematuros ingresados en las UCIN. 3.Conocer los beneficios de cada
una de las intervenciones diseñadas hasta la actualidad dirigidas a mejorar el estado
psicológico de los padres y el bienestar del neonato.
Metodología: Se ha realizado una búsqueda sistemática de fuentes bibliográficas de
los últimos años sobre la educación sanitaria y el apoyo por parte del personal sanitario
a los padres de recién nacidos prematuros. Se ha elaborado un cuadro resumen
exponiendo las características de cada uno de los artículos seleccionados en la
búsqueda.
Discusión: La educación sanitaria que proporciona el personal sanitario a los padres es
un componente clave para la disminución de la ansiedad, potenciando el rol de padres,
así como un vínculo afectivo eficaz. Las intervenciones realizadas en los artículos
seleccionados de la búsqueda proporcionan unos efectos positivos en los padres que
también se relacionan con mejores resultados para los bebés.
Introduction: When a preterm birth occurs, it is produced a hard interruption of the
preparation of the newborn's birth, all this produces feelings and emotions in the
parents, often these emotions are translated into concern, restlessness, fear, etc.,
because the parents do not know if the baby will survive or how it will evolve.
Nowadays, parents can stay in the NICU with their child and participate in their basic
care, but many times parents continue feelling lack of support from the health staff and
they need a better health education.
Objectives: 1. To determine which are the most effective interventions directed to
parents with preterm babies in the NICU in order to improve the psychological state of
the parents. 2. To identify the factors, which influence the psychological disorder of
parents with preterm babies, hospitalized in NICU. 3. To know the benefits of each of
the interventions designed until now, which are aimed to improve the psychological
state of the parents and the well-being of the newborn.
Methodology: It has been done a systematic search of bibliographic sources of the last
years on health education and the support by the healthcare professional to the
parents of preterm baby. It has been elaborated a summary table stating the
characteristics of each of the articles selected in the review.
Discussion: Health education, which is provided to parents by health professionals it, is
a key component in reducing anxiety, enhancing the role of parents and in creating an
effective emotional bond. Interventions, which are made on the selected articles of the
search, provide positive effects on parents, what is also related with better outcomes
for babies. |
