The education portfolio has been, for the last forty years, both as a resource for
students and for teachers in collecting and presenting evidence of work and progress,
thus becoming a tool for evaluation. The increase in studies on the portfolio and
technological progress has helped maintain his popularity and even make it evolve into
what we know today as e-portfolio.
In this case study, on the one hand, it is a tour of the main research about ideas
and influences as essential as the E-portfolio, the Practicum and mentoring and
coaching. And, more practically, it focuses on the role of tutor in the monitoring of their
students by commenting tool that incorporates the E-portfolio. The main objective of
this study was therefore to analyze the track so as to provide students and intervene
with proposals for improvement. Similarly, it is also contrasted the different views
between tutors and students about the E-portfolio and the development of professional
skills. This study has a sample of 11 students of 2nd Practicum course within the
degree of Teaching Children at the University of Lleida, his tutor, and another 3 tutors
at the same university and takes place during the 2011-2012 academic course. |
