Title:	Review of statistical word alignment techniques

Abstract:	The notion of word alignment of a bilingual parallel corpus is defined and the difficulties of the task are highlighted. Alignment evaluation procedures are described. First, straightforward, baseline methods are presented. Then state-of-the-art systems are described and qualitatively or quantitatively compared.
