Abstract:	This report is concerned with the study of the behaviour of bone ingrowth after the implantation of a biomaterial in the femur of a rabbit. It describes a series of experiments in which the traditional method based on hystological cuts is substituted by a method based on image capture and the visualization of these images ussing an existent Volume Platform.
