caracteritzen diferents combinacions de fibres vegetals i aglutinants orgànics a fi
d’arròs) i aglomerants orgànics (midó, alginat i caseïna).

English: This Final Project is located in the area of sustainable construction , the use of organic
materials and the research of new formulations for the production of thermal insulation.
This is an experimental work in which they develop and characterize different
combinations of fibers and organic binders in order to obtain a thermally insulating
material.
Samples were prepared composite fibers (barley straw, corn husk and rice) and
organic binders (starc, alginate and casein).
We have performed several tests physical, thermal , and hygroscopic behavior against
fire. The results have allowed us to establish and select formulations suitable for their
purpose.
Although the compounds are made with corn which have a lower thermal conductivity,
taking into account all the results of all performed, barley straw is that the whole is
more appropriate.
The binder has a great influence on the thermal properties of materials, but if
hygrothermal behavior and face the fire. While casein obtained a very negative results
in the absorption of water vapor in the tests it was the fire that presents a better
performance.
The values obtained in the materials developed are comparable in many respects to
those which have thermal insulation marketed. |
