blue and lustre decorated ceramics found in the Alhambra Palace are presented. Although
the study is still unfinished -first analyses corresponding to the ceramic bodies -glazes and
decorations are presented. The object of the study is to determine the materials used and
techniques followed in the production in order to obtain similarities and differences between
earlier and later productions -as well as -with contemporary productions -the differences
being technological (production methodology) -geographic (raw materials used) or aesthetic
(use of specific materials to obtain an aesthetic effect -colour -shine). In fact -in most cases -it is possible to distinguish between productions by means of the visual examination of the
materials -ceramic bodies (colour -particles size and aspect) -glazes (shine -transparency -grazing -colour -etc) and decorations (evolution -aspect -colour -application -etc.) -Ceràmica en l'arquitectura -Materials ceràmics
