English:This document contains a description of the project of “Unification of the Quality Management System of an aircraft producer in accordance with EN-9100” executed for Alestis Aerospace and developed in agreement with the company W AERONAUTICA Consultoria i Enginyeria S.L.
Alestis Aerospace is a first level (TIER 1) aerostructure Spanish supplier and a leader in engineer and technologies in composite materials manufacturing, born from the integration of two relevant companies in the sector as have been the Group Alcor and Sacesa with several facilities in Spain and Brazil and more than 1500 employees.
Due to the young of Alestis Aerospace as a company, was certified only under EN-9100 in engineering and were the different plants, which came from SK10 and Sacesa, which were certified by the complete EN-9100 in engineering and design. With the change of legal entity of the plants, which became part of Alestis Aerospace, they completely lost previous certifications. So they had to recertify again. In view of this problem there were to possible solutions taking as valid the most complex option: the unification of the whole organization under one QMS.
To meet the needs of Alestis Aerospace, the unification of the Quality Management System is structured in two stages. The first, defined in this project, expect to unify the procedures for the organizational level, so that they are common to the different facilities and that work all under the same methods. The plant specific procedures and those related to production processes are maintained by the various facilities and unification will take place in a future stage.
The result obtained after doing this project is a complete preparation of Alestis Aerospace for pass successfully the audit to obtain the EN-9100. |
