El embarazo es motivo de alegría para los progenitores y la familia y conforme este avanza se crea una imagen idílica sobre el recién nacido. Pero existen casos de prematuridad o problemas de salud que precisan de un ingreso hospitalario en la unidad de cuidados intensivos, la cual provoca en los padres un impacto negativo de la situación. Por este motivo, enfermería debería realizar intervenciones, de forma personalizada, para ayudar a estos padres a aceptar la nueva situación. De esta manera, se reduce el riesgo en los padres de experimentar trastornos perinatales de ánimo y ansiedad y aumenta la satisfacción de su experiencia en la unidad
Se ha elaborado un programa psico-educativo con el fin de reducir el impacto psicológico de los padres con niños ingresados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales del Hospital Universitario Arnau de Vilanova (HUAV).
Pregnancy is a source of joy for parents and family and agrees with this image is an idyllic picture about the new born. But there are cases of prematurity or health problems that require a hospital admission in the intensive care unit, which causes in the parents a negative impact of the situation. For this reason, the nursing can perform interventions, in a personalized way, to help these parents to accept the new situation. In this way, reduce the risk in parents of experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and increases the satisfaction of their experience in the unit.
A psycho-educational program has been developed in order to reduce the psychological impact of parents with children admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital Universitario Arnau de Vilanova (HUAV). |
